The School of Business at Clark Atlanta
For sixty years the Clark Atlanta University School of Business Administration has molded some of the nation’s best students into the nation’s best business leaders. Since awarding its first MBA degree in 1946 and its first BA degree in 1931, Clark Atlanta University School of Business Administration has been a pioneer in business education for African-Americans and people of color.
Clark Atlanta University School of Business Administration was one of the first Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the nation to have its undergraduate and graduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB).
The School of Business Administration continues to produce one of the largest classes of African-American MBAs in the world, while its undergraduate program is one of the top ten percent producers of African-American business professionals in the nation.
Clark Atlanta University School of Business:
- Ranked 7th in the nation for the recruitment of minority MBA candidates by the Wall Street Journal (October, 2004);
- Ranked 3rd in the nation as the place where minorities go to receive MBA degrees by CareerJournal.com (2004);
- Was declared a “Hidden Gem” amongst the nation’s best business schools in Business 2.0 (2003);
- Was rated best return on investment, “The Quickest Payback,” by Business Week (October, 1998);
- Continues to produce a significant number of Inroads scholars. Awarded Educator of the Year twice in the last four years. In the summers of 2004 and 2005, CAU had over 50 Inroads scholars in internships across the country each summer
- Has had more than 100 Fortune 500 companies recruiting through its placement offices;
Annually, has students studying abroad in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America.
